Sevacare

Sevacare UK are among the leading domiciliary care providers in the UK.

Currently they are using a complex system involving Citrix Terminal Server Farms, Exchange 2007 Servers, Dedicated File Servers and multiple SQL Servers.

They have multiple branches spanning over the West Midlands and London which are all connected via fast VPN links to their main head-quarters.

County Air Ambulance

The Charity operates three air ambulance helicopters which covers an area of 8,000 square miles and 11 counties. County Air Ambulance carries out approximately 2,000 missions each year and has completed in excess of 21,000 missions since it commenced in 1991.

We Solve IT installed two servers, a Small Business 2003 server with Exchange Server and a dedicated Terminal Server for remote working.

Roman Originals

Established in 1957, this family owned business was originally a manufacturing business based in Birmingham. The company has retained its heritage and passion for Ladieswear, and has grown and developed its retail interests.

Today, the company designs and manufactures its own range of Ladies clothing and accessories, which it now retails in over 150 outlets across the United Kingdom.

We Solve IT provided Roman Originals with an Exchange 2003 server, a Terminal Server for remote users and a File Server. At their other site, we have installed a Terminal Server and a File Server. The two sites are linked together using a VPN, and client workstations connect to the Exchange 2003 server over the VPN connection.

Berck Limited

Berck Limited are a leading manufacturer of quality metal pressings and metal/plastic sub-assemblies for the world’s automotive, electronic and medical industries.

Precision components produced by Berck Limited are utilized in the majority of car manufacturing plants in the UK and oversea. Berck Limited required not only an Exchange 2003 Server and a File Server, but they also required a dedicated SQL Server and a Terminal Server.

In addition we also provided an innovative solution to having 20 terminals on the factory floor which being a fairly hostile environment for PC's was essential. We implemented sealed PC wall mounted cases with wall mounted rugged touch screen units to enable them to reliably access their newly installed manufacturing automation software. In this scenario we collaborate with their software vendor to ensure a smooth running factory.
